Too Much Exercise

Can you exercise too much? Well, like most things too much of a good thing can end up being a really bad thing. So how can you tell when your fitness program is too much? The first thing you may consider is to check with a doctor. Ask them what they think about your program, and if you see them often enough, they may be able to tell how your program affects you through a basic exam.

You can also consider getting with a personal trainer. You could ask them to design you a workout plan that will really give you a good workout without pushing you over the edge. A good workout program usually will have within it days of rest. The schedule may be that one week you workout 4 days and the next week 3, then back to 4 and so on. Certainly there are probably many opinions out there.

The reason many people workout is to improve their health. If you want to improve your health then make sure you consider doing so gradually. No matter how much you workout, it can take time to see results. It can be a gradual process. In any case, be safe out there and get help if you feel you need it.
